Who is Laszlo Hanyecz and Jeremy Sturdivant ?

On May 22, 2010, programmer Lazlo Hanyzec SPENT 10,000 BTC (~R$1.4 billion) on 2 pizzas.

On May 18, 2010, programmer Lazlo Hanyzec made an announcement on Bitcointalk.org, offering 10,000 BTC to anyone who accepted that amount in exchange for pizza. Days later, on May 22, 2010, Jeremy, a 19-year-old, accepted his proposal

Jeremy, who lived in California, placed the order over the phone at a pizzeria in Florida and had two pizzas delivered to Lazlo.

After receiving the pizzas, Lazlo transferred the BTC to Jeremy, marking the first transaction of anything physical using a digital currency, Bitcoin.

In 2010, these 10,000 BTCs were equivalent to approximately US$41, or R$205. Today, in 2023, these same 10 thousand BTCs are equivalent to approximately US$267 million, or R$1.4 billion.
